M Counselling

As a counsellor, I aim to help improve people's mental health and equip people with the knowledge and tools they need in order to reduce the distress caused by their circumstances.
Our thoughts, beliefs and state of mind determine so much of our overall well-being and effectiveness in life, so they are definitely well worth investing in.

Qualifications

Study

I have completed a Master of Counselling from Monash University - a qualification accredited in Australia by the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

Specialty

I have undertaken further training in the Gottman Couples Therapy method and find that this offers an extremely good set of research based tools for working on relationships in distress.

My Aim:

To help people achieve good mental health and build happy, lasting relationships.

What is "Mental Health?"

"... a state of well-being in which you realise your own potential, cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and be able to make a contribution to your community."
